Corrine Whittle
Born and raised in California. Jim and I raised our two daughters in San Ramon, CA. After Jim retired we transplanted ourselves to Bend. I have spent my working career extensively in banking, finance and accounting. I am very excited to be using my skills for "Christ's" church.
Family stats: Married to Jim 37 years, Daughter Kim, son in law Tony, Grandchildren Maggie 5 and Joseph 2, Daughter Shelly to be married to Bret March 2008.
How I became a Christian: My mother took us kids (4) to Newark Assembly of God Church, Newark CA. I gave my heart to Jesus in my Sunday School class along with two other girls my age, Gloria and Aida, all still serving the Lord.
How I came to be at Westside: We checked the Saturday, Bend Bulletin paper listing of church services and saw that Westside was a Foursquare church. Hooray! We visited on a Sunday, almost 5 years ago.
Favorite place: other than home, Italy
Favorite place in Bend: Drake Park
Most powerful book...."How Should We Then Live", Francis A. Schaeffer It was an education of religious influence in history and culture. "Facing Your Giants" Max Lucado Wonderful!
