adopt-a-block
Adopt a block is a ministry that reaches out to our community, bringing our neighbors a helping hand, food to homes that might need it, and most importantly the love of Christ in hopes of transforming this city one person at a time.
It's called adopt a block because it's exactly that! We have adopted specific neighborhoods in our city. We send teams out to those areas consistently every Saturday, developing relationships with the people from home to home and meeting needs wherever we can.
Every week we get opportunities to love, encourage, and pray with people who may not have anybody else in their life doing those things for them.
If you are interested in Adopt-A-Block come and give it a try! There are no qualifications to participate and newcomers are always welcome!
Bring your small group out, come with friends or just come and make new friends on this exciting ministry to our neighbors who need God's love.

We have been so blessed to give away $7000 in gift cards for families in need on our blocks last Christmas. Big thank you to all who donated last year to the holiday giving fund, and to everyone who donated their time, energy and support. As we enter into the 2007 holiday season, we are excited to help even more families than we did during the 2006 holiday season. We love you guys, may the Lord bless you richly!

prayer, coffee and donuts!
9:00 am Official meet time for block assignments and announcements
9:30 am Go to your blocks!
11:30 am meet back at the Dream Center for sharing stories, prayer and closing
