Our Lord doesn't ask us to be his ministers without helping us. He blesses each of us with specific abilities—spiritual gifts—for the ministry He wants us to be in. 1 Corinthians 12 affirms that "God gives [spiritual gifts] to each one, just as he determines." (v. 11) We all have something to offer in ministry, because He gave it to us! This is the second of our underlying theological principles: The Giftedness of All Believers. One of the keys to finding your best ministry fit is understanding your God-given spiritual gift(s). This tool can help you do that. Click on the iimage to the left to begin the assessment. If you want the clearest picture of your gifts, it is really helpful to have others who know you well fill out this assessment based on their understanding of you. Comparing answers can help indicate areas where your self-assessment may not be complete. Others often see things in us that we don't recognize! Also, it is a good practice to take this assessment again every few years. As our spiritual depth progresses, our spiritual gifts can become more clear.
