Forgiveness and Praise from Julie Ireland
"One year, I forgave my father for the abuse that happened in our household......"
God uses a metaphor and some "change" to lead Cari back to Him
For at least 5 years I had a real poverty mentality, no matter what I was making, it seemed that "i never had enough money". I always felt as though I was struggling. As a result turned inward almost becoming a recluse because I felt I simply could not afford to go out and that in many ways, having no funds meant I had nothing to offer. I had no faith in regards to provision- I almost had no faith what-so-ever in God, in Humanity, in myself...
Tia's Answer to Prayer-Healing
I remember being in such a dark place, alone, death surrounded me, all hope was gone. Battling an illness, with no name, for years finally won its battle against me ( or so I thought).
God uses Flowers to Comfort Janis Trachenberg
I would like to share a testimony of how I was blessed with the acts of kindness from my brothers and sisters at Westside.
Praise for the South Campus Worship and Ministry Teams
I just want to tell you that the worship service at the South Campus yesterday was beyond wonderful. Pastor Jesse was totally anointed and spoke such truth to the hearts of everyone there. The music was beautiful and ministered to many. What joy! What a special time with the LORD. This is what I knew Westside was all about... Now the joy of the Lord is with everyone! Thank you.
Praise for "Truthtown" and the people who serve Westside's children
I was stymied over what to share about Westside’s impact on our family and our children because in many ways it seems so…ordinary! It then occurred to me that what is ordinary for me, many others might also identify with. Yet it would sound extraordinary to those who never have a reason to venture to “the other side” called Truthtown. An aside, here - Debbie Eshelman once shared with me the reason for the name behind Truthtown. The simple concept made so much sense! She said, “We don’t tell Bible stories here, we share Bible truths.”
Evan Kennedy shares his Baptism Story
"It wasn't until I met Caitlin, my now Fiancé -and very soon to be wife, that I truly came to know Jesus Christ, and how powerful His word is......"
The Reason I Chose Baptism
I was sprinkled at birth and later confirmed into the Lutheran church, and have long used this as an argument as to why I didn't need to be baptized. I know there are many out there who have the same struggle.
