Ministry Training Center (MTC)
Ministry Training Center (MTC) is a Holy Spirit-centered training course designed to equip followers of Jesus Christ with practical theology and hands-on training that builds faith and confidence to enter into fruitful ministry. MTC offers training that leads followers of Christ into spiritual empowerment through biblical training and practical application. MTC will also empower believers to minister to others in helping to change the spiritual climate of Central Oregon. The training is offered in three 12-week modules that equip believers to become more effective witnesses for Christ at church, at home, and in the marketplace. the curriculum for MTC is The Ambassador Series, authored by John and Sonja Decker, missionary evangelists ordained by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. - Level 1: Foundations - September 10 - November 26, 2012
- Level 2: Toward Maturity - December 3, 2012 - February 18, 2013
- Level 3: Leadership - February 25 - May 13, 2013
Times: Classes meet on Monday nights from 6:25 - 9:15pm
Location: Westside Church
Cost: Tuition for Level One is $40 per individual or $65 per married couple attending together. Cost includes the twelve weeks of training and the first of three Discipleship Training Manuals. Required reading: Doing What Jesus Did, $15.
Other: Childcare is not available
*** MTC Informational Meeting *** You are invited to attend the annual MTC Informational Meeting on Sunday, September 9 at 10:45am in the Westside Church Adult Education Room. This meeting will provide information about the class and will answer questions you may have. Let us know you will be attending by completing the MTC Application (found online or at the Information Center at Westside Church), enclosing a check for $40 for single attendees or $65 for married couples attending together. Applications can be mailed to the address on the application. Late registration is closed on Monday night September 12, 2012.
