Finding a place to Connect in Oneighty

I'm one of those rare individuals known as a "native Oregonian. I was raised in a "church" environment, being taught FACTS about God, but didn't come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior until July 1980...

Laurie and I were approached, as leaders, in being part of the 300 vision you had, for those giving to the church building project. We both prayed about what our commitment level should be and really felt like the Lord would have an exact number for us.

Two things crossed my mind as the police officer pointed his pistol at me and yelled for me to get down on my knees and put my hands on top of my head.
