Lives are being changed because of your giving.  Here are just a couple of the many stories we hear about changed lives:

Testamonials:

“For many years, I separated myself from Christ and made myself my own god, “worshipping” drugs and alcohol.  I decided after college to seek Christ on my own, finding answers to all the questions I had… and Christ answered them.  Thank you Westside for supporting my journey with Him”

"I am a single mom and sole provider to my son.  We are “abuse survivors”.  I suffered a back injury a couple years ago and am still not healed fully.  I am not able to work as much as I had before.  I work enough to survive and pay the bills.  Sometimes it’s all I have to get through the day.  I know it is God that gets me through each day.  God always provides when I cannot. When Jay asked the single mothers to raise their hands for additional prayer I raised my hand high in the air.  I have to admit I immediately pulled my hand out of midair when he told the people sitting next to a single mom raising their hand to give them money out of their wallets.  I guess I thought I would become invisible.  Needless to say I was not invisible.  I had money given to me, passed to me, thrown in a chair next to me, and anonymously given during the whole service. From the depths of my heart, thank you to all of you!  May the Lord bless you twice as much as he has blessed me.  I am truly blessed.  God is amazing! God always provides when I cannot."

The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14).  This short clip from Pastor Mike Alexander reminds us of that.  God calls us to be generous with our time, our energy, our hearts, our emotions and our finances.  We are part of God's plan. Through our giving we learn to trust God and put Him in a place of priority.
