Growing Better Heart1st

Over the last six months, the God has shown me a dozen reasons why He wants us to grow better heart first, reach out to our community, build a new worship center and improve our ministry areas in the church. Here a two:

Having “a heart after God” requires investing in the things God cares about. There is a definite heart and treasure reciprocity. Our hearts grow bigger when we give ourselves to kingdom things - things larger then ourselves. Something larger than us will bring something greater out of us.

Our faith will grow
Huge challenges change us. We will face them through faith in God and grow in our faith, or we will back away from them, causing our faith and our hearts to shrink.

Faith is about seeing something in the invisible realm before it is manifest in the visible realm. Along with a handful of leaders, I saw our current campus before it was here (nineteen years ago) with eyes of faith. You are sitting in someone else’s vision! Here’s my question to you today: Who will one day sit in your vision?
