I Will Remember

I Will Remember

It seems so many times in Scripture that we see the people quickly forget who their God is, and where their place of safety is. They turn to so many people and things that are not God.

My commitment once again today is that God, and God only, will be my place of safety. He has always been there for me; in good times, in difficult times, in stressful times. When Jim was serving his country in Viet Nam, I remember thinking so many times, ‘how do the wives that do not know the Lord live through this time in their lives’. My God was with me then, and I know He will be with me always.

God, I do thank You! You have always been there for me. I know that I can trust You and that You will stand with me. AMEN

Lord, teach me what You want me to do, and I will live by Your truth. I respect You, I will praise You, and I will honor Your name. Psalm 86

I Will Remember
Isaiah 17:10-11
5-26-15

Scripture:

10 You have forgotten the God who saves you; you have not remembered that God is your place of safety. You plant the finest grapevines and grapevines from faraway places. 11 You plant your grapevines one day and try to make them grow, and the next day you make them blossom. But at harvest time everything will be dead; a sickness will kill all the plants. (Isaiah 17:10-11 NCV)
