I'm appreciative of Westside for this opportunity to stay plugged in to people I love at my home church, while also having a foot in the door of the discipleship program at Westside. Being brought up in the Christian Church, taking the time to attend a Foursquare program was a challenging one, but taught me flexibility and gave me a chance to learn how to compare doctrinal differences and points of views consistent with various denominations. During my time in the Westside Internship, God spoke into my life daily through the pastors, worship, devotions, classes, and ministry time. It created an atmosphere for me to make my faith and relationship with God truly my own. More than just gaining Biblical knowledge, I was taught how to apply it and given opportunities to do so. During Westside's Internship, I grew close to God from all the time I spent around other people who were pursuing him as well. I learned a lot of things that people deal with in life and how to deal with them according to scripture. I will always remember that time as being a season of growth, learning and friendship.
