No Afterthought

Reference(s): Acts 15:17-18
Scripture:
So outsiders who seek will find, so they’ll have a place to come to, all the pagan peoples included in what I’m doing. “God said it and now he’s doing it. It’s no afterthought; he’s always known he would do this. Acts 15:17-18 (The Message)
Observation:
Some of the Jews were sure that all people, even the so called outsiders, needed to abide by the many laws that they had in place. And this was even after God had showed that He was more than available to these outsiders that would seek and find Him. But it was no afterthought for God. It was what He had always intended to happen.
Application:
I am not an afterthought. God always had in mind a way for me to come to Him and to know Him. I am over and over touched by that fact; that He made a way for me and that He knows me and cares for me.
Prayer:
How can I ever say thank you enough, Father? You made a way for me and for so many others; all that seek You. I want to see people not as outsiders but as those that You also made a way for… to remember that they are not an afterthought. AMEN
Father, you are the one who builds the house, guards the city, and gives rest to those of us you love. Thank you. Psalm 127:1-2
